The Living Light – Guru Granth Sahib Ji

After the ten human Gurus, Guru Gobind Singh Ji bestowed the eternal Guruship on the Guru Granth Sahib Ji — making it the living, spiritual guide for all Sikhs. This scripture is not just a holy book; it is the embodiment of divine wisdom.

The Guru Granth Sahib Ji is a collection of sacred hymns (Shabads) composed by Sikh Gurus and other saints from different backgrounds. It speaks in the voice of truth, love, justice, and universal oneness. It is revered as a living Guru and treated with utmost respect and devotion.

In every Gurdwara, the Guru Granth Sahib is placed on a raised platform under a canopy, where it is read aloud daily as a Hukamnama (divine order) for guidance. The Shabad is sung as Kirtan, not merely heard but felt deep within the heart.
